When an applicant applies for a visa he must pay his Schengen visa application fee which is not refundable in case of visa rejection. The visa fee depends on the nature of the visa, the age of the applicant, and the profession of the applicant. The visa fee is not only the Schengen visa fee it also includes service charges of desired country’s embassy.

Schengen Visa Fee

Regular Schengen Visa fee:

Schengen visa Fee in EUR
For mature person € 60
For 90 days or less 90 days visa € 60
For children under 12 years and above 5 years € 35
For long stay visa € 99
For Russia, Georgia, Kosovo, and Ukraine nationality holders € 35

No Fee for Schengen Visa:

There is no fee charged for following a Schengen visa.

  • Students, teachers, and professors visit for the purpose of training and education.
  • A representative of a non-profit organization, the representative must be the age of 25 years.
  • A researcher who comes for the purpose of research.

Visa Fee May be Reduced:

Schengen visa fee may be reduced for the following.

  • For consular, political person, and official persons traveling for official purposes, service passports.
  • Children under the age of 12 years and more than 6 years.
  • Representative aged 25 years traveling for the purpose of attending educational events, seminars, sports, and culture arranged by non-profit organizations.

The fee in Dollars:

The local currency may be affected by the change in the exchange rate.

Schengen visa fees may be charged in dollars or local currency depending on the country from where the visa is applied.
